Hello Talkers! 👋🗣😃

How’s your week been? Full transparency: mine has been a mess, in the sense that it’s been one of those chaotic weeks where nothing seems to want to go to plan. But it’s Thursday now and I can (thankfully!) see the light at the end of the tunnel, thanks to a whole lot of patience and flexibility.

I do a fair bit of juggling of multiple roles in my work and I’ve found it not only helpful but necessary to be as flexible as possible. I do that by aiming to work on things well before they’re due so that I have a buffer if I need it. Case in point: this week things were a bit chaotic so I’m writing the newsletter on Thursday morning instead of Wednesday morning. It’s still done well before it goes out (Thursday evening my time) but thankfully I was able to use a chunk of my buffer period which meant I could be less frantic/chaotic/stressed on Wednesday.

So, how can you create more flexibility for yourself in your schedule? Let me know in the comments!

So without any further ado… greetings and salutations, and a very warm welcome to another newsletter. I hope you enjoy my quick snapshot of my favourite things this week — hopefully at least one of them will make you smile/feel inspired. Have a fantastic week!

Jeremy 🙂

💯 My absolute favourite thing this week:

I have spent quite a lot of time over the past few years getting my head (and heart) around the fact that some friendships no longer have a place in my life, as I have grown in a different direction. And that can be painful. Which is OK. Mourn the loss, but also celebrate what was because it was great while it lasted.

💬 My favourite quote this week:

“Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself.”
