Hi! You’re busy, I’m busy, so I’ll get straight to the point: I’m making some changes on my podcast and on YouTube, and I wanted to take a quick moment to let you know before they happen (this Sunday).
Here’s what’s happening:
- If you’re a Spotify user, you’ll notice from next episode onwards that you can either listen to the podcast or watch it… and by ‘watch it’ I mean you’ll see me talking directly on the video (not just as a voice-over); other podcast platforms will remain audio-only
- On YouTube, I’ll now be sharing videos twice a week (yes, I’ll be in them too) and the Sunday one will be a shorter ‘how to’ video about the topic in the main podcast (so the full-length video podcast will only be on Spotify)
- I’ll also be changing the name of my YouTube channel from Let’s Talk About Mental Health to Jeremy Godwin
- If you’re a supporter on my Patreon, you’ll continue to receive ad-free access one week early to my mid-week ‘how to’ videos (all supporters) and my full-length podcast episodes (Official Supporter tier only)
Why am I doing this? Well, I feel like we can talk about mental health more if you can actually see me! It means we can have deeper conversations and it can feel more like a two-way dialogue, instead of just me talking at you. Plus I need to challenge myself if I want to continue to grow.
So, TLDR: New podcasts and videos every Sunday and Wednesday, with my face in them.
Take care and talk to you soon!
Jeremy 😃
PS: Bear with me while I find my feet with this new format; I haven’t filmed myself in nearly two years so it will take me some time to get back into a comfortable rhythm… so please be nice if I seem a bit awkward/uncomfortable (because I definitely am, in at least the first few videos!!!).
